Home, kids, spouse, family, friends, work, school…our lives today is so overwhelming and stressed. Now add Autism to this mix. The stress increases manifold and the everyday challenges become far more daunting. The following article from Huffington Post has quotes from parents of Kids with Autism and as I read through it, I found myself nodding at so many of the experiences. Take a look and I’m sure you can relate to quite a few as well:
Like everyone else , I too had been busy fighting, worrying, stressing , complaining and making my situation worse until I decided to snap out of it .Even though I would be lying if I say that I do none of these anymore but I can proudly admit that I have found a happy place, at least for the moment. Yup, I think I might have found that magical key to happiness, though it’s not the master key but it does open the happiness door for me quite often :). And as they say, happiness is in sharing, so I present you my happiness generators-

who knew!!! yup , hugs and kisses bring happiness.. Every morning I have a “Makeout session” with my son where we hug and kiss and say “I love you “ over and over again until we are almost 5 mins late for the school bus. I cannot think of a better way to start my day and the warmth that it brings into your entire day is something that can make you smile even in your bleakest hour.
